Staff augmentation adds engineers to your team for as long as you need them. They work in your tools, follow your process and take direction from your leads, while we look after their employment and arrange cover when someone is away.
What staff augmentation is
Staff augmentation is a way to add skills to your own team without hiring permanently. You decide what the engineers work on and how; we provide the people and stay responsible for them as their employer.
It differs from outsourcing a project. With outsourcing, an agency delivers an agreed scope and manages the work itself. With staff augmentation, the work stays yours: the engineers join your stand-ups, your tickets and your code reviews.

Time zones, ownership and security
Our team is in Islamabad (UTC+5). The working day overlaps with UK business hours, and for US teams we agree fixed overlap hours for stand-ups and reviews.
Ownership of the code and IP, confidentiality and access rules are set out in the agreement before work starts. Engineers use the accounts and permissions you give them, and you can remove access at any time.

What is staff augmentation?
Staff augmentation means adding outside engineers to your own team for a period of time. They work on your product, in your tools and under your leads, while the provider employs them, handles their admin and covers absences. It adds skills or capacity without a permanent hire.
What is the difference between staff augmentation and outsourcing?
With staff augmentation you direct the work: engineers join your team and follow your process. With outsourcing, an agency takes a defined scope, manages the work and delivers the result. Augmentation suits teams with their own leads; outsourcing suits work with a clear scope and end.
How do you handle time zones with US and UK teams?
Our team works from Islamabad (UTC+5), so the working day overlaps with UK business hours. For US teams we agree fixed overlap hours for stand-ups, reviews and calls, so questions don’t wait a day for an answer.
Can I scale the team up or down?
Yes. You can add engineers as the work grows or reduce the team when a phase ends, on the terms agreed at the start.
Who owns the code the engineers write?
Ownership of the code and IP is set out in the agreement before work starts. Ask us for the terms during the first call.
Is staff augmentation the same as hiring dedicated developers?
